Job Purpose The Cluster Manager – Galaxea provides strategic and operational leadership across multiple Galaxea Dive Centers, ensuring safe, efficient, and commercially successful operations while delivering exceptional luxury guest experiences. The role is responsible for supporting the design, development, pre-opening, and operational readiness of new dive centers, followed by the ongoing leadership of multiple operating locations through site-based Senior Managers. The Cluster Manager drives operational consistency, safety excellence, financial performance, people development, regulatory compliance, and sustainability across all assigned sites while maintaining Galaxea's world-class service standards. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership • Lead and oversee multi-site dive center operations, ensuring consistency in service delivery, safety, and operational excellence. • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to Senior Managers. • Monitor operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives. • Ensure compliance with RSSE standards, SOPs, and international diving best practices. Pre-Opening & Operational Readiness • Support the planning, design, commissioning, and operational setup of new dive centers. • Collaborate with Development, Delivery, Procurement, HR, Sustainability, and Marine Operations teams. • Recruit, mobilize, and onboard operational teams. • Develop operational procedures and ensure readiness before opening. Safety & Compliance • Champion a proactive safety culture across all locations. • Ensure compliance with PADI standards, local regulations, and company policies. • Conduct audits, risk assessments, emergency drills, and incident investigations. • Maintain emergency preparedness and business continuity plans. Guest Experience • Deliver consistently exceptional luxury diving and snorkeling experiences. • Monitor guest feedback and implement service enhancements. • Support VIP experiences, media events, and resort activations. • Work closely with resort teams to integrate marine experiences into the overall guest journey. People Leadership • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing multicultural teams. • Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and capability development. • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and guest-focused culture. Commercial & Financial Management • Manage operational budgets and resource allocation across multiple locations. • Monitor revenue, operating costs, profitability, and asset utilization. • Deliver accurate operational reporting and performance analysis. Marine Conservation & Sustainability • Support RSSE's regenerative tourism strategy by promoting environmentally responsible diving operations. • Ensure compliance with marine conservation regulations and protected area requirements. • Collaborate with Sustainability teams to protect the marine ecosystem. Stakeholder Management • Build strong relationships with Resort Management, Marine Operations, HR, Procurement, Finance, Marketing, Government Authorities, Coast Guard, and Dive Certification Agencies. • Represent Galaxea in cross-functional initiatives and strategic operational planning. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Marine Science, Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related discipline. • PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (minimum). • Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial diving or dive resort operations. • Minimum 5 years in a senior operational leadership or multi-site management role. • Experience in luxury hospitality, pre-opening projects, and managing multicultural teams. • Minimum 500 logged dives and 50 student certifications. Knowledge & Skills • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. • Expertise in dive operations, safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance. • Financial and commercial acumen with budget management experience. • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills. • Proven ability to lead operational change and continuous improvement. • Strong guest service orientation with experience managing high-end clientele. • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency. • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
