Job Search My Jobs Basic Search | Beginning of the main content section.Return to the home page Printable Format Job Description - Enterprise Risk Manager (2600001J) Job Description Enterprise Risk Manager - (Requisition ID : 2600001J) Description JOB PURPOSE Responsible for maintaining oversight on SANAD’s risk profile and providing its assurance to Risk Management Committee on effective implementation of risk management practices within the organization. Support business in development, testing and improvement of business continuity plans. Assist QHSE Director in running QHSE risk analysis, establishing QHSE plans and monitor implementation and audit of HSE management systems. ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES ERM: • Develop and maintain organization’s risk management policies and practices under the guidance of Risk Management Committee. • Assist in evaluating the company's risk appetite and quantifying the amount of risk company’s shareholders would want to be exposed to. · Develop and maintain Sanad’s Risk Register. • Continuous engagement with Risk Management Committee for prioritizing the risks and highlight any emerging risks with significant exposure in line with changing business dynamics (Internal and external factors). • Assist risk owners in monitoring the health of key business risks and evaluating the change in organization’s risk profile. • Developing and disseminating risk analysis and progress reports to company executives, Board Sub-committee and Shareholders. • Support executive management in evaluating risks for major decisions and initiatives as and when required. • Assist in Integration of risk management practices and priorities into the company's overall business planning. • Assist the stakeholders in assessing effectiveness of existing controls and developing measures to mitigate the risks. • Monitor implementation status of mitigation measures and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation measures through change in risk profile. • Communicating with company stakeholders and board members about the business's risk profile and assessments. BCM: • Assist the business in identification of critical business processes, recovery time objective and dependency on people, facilities, technology supply chain, and vital records. • Support business in development, testing and improvement of Business continuity plans. • Maintain oversight on effective implementation of Business continuity practices and provide assurance to Risk Management committee. QHSE: • Assist the QHSE Director in defining organization development and effectiveness standards to ensure that the QHSE function is able to support business needs by means of effective communication and credible delivery of programs. • Assist in establishing QHSE Goals and QHSE Plans for SANAD in collaboration with functional heads. • Assist the QHSE Director in running QHSE risk analyses in order to develop recommendations for improvement for the Organization. • Assist the QHSE Director in Monitoring, implementation and audit of the QMS and HSE management systems to ensure smooth QHSE operations. Product / Process Improvement: • Proactively evaluate the effectiveness of processes utilized within the designated department and make and implement improvements as needed in order to increase efficiency. Physical Working Conditions: • Normal working conditions (office) with occasional site visits, travel for trainings & company events when requested. Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Knowledge and Experience: • Minimum 15 years in Rig contracting business including 2 years in Risk Management Function. Minimum 5 years’ experience in managerial or supervisory role. • Understanding of Industry relevant risks and Corporate Governance requirements. • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Company’s business, from Rig level up to Head Office. • Good Communication and Presentation skills, Demonstrates Independence, and High level of Integrity · • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Company’s business, from Rig level up to Head Office. • Extensive international work experience and travel. • Experience in multi-task environment. • Self-starter, able to prioritize and organize department workload on a daily basis. • Able to deal with a wide range of situations and personalities, good interpersonal skills. • Able to work well under pressure and maintain a team spirit and cooperative attitude. • Able to conduct public speaking, good presentation skills. • Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills and consistent. • Open minded, committed to continual improvement. • Well versed with Microsoft office applications.
