Job Description: Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Horticulture Inspector to join our site-based construction supervision team on the prestigious Green Riyadh Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting irrigation installation works, monitoring quality and compliance, supporting construction activities, and ensuring that all irrigation systems are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards What You’ll Be Doing • Plans, designs, and oversees construction of irrigation projects for transporting distributing water to agricultural lands. • Plans and designs irrigation fixtures & installation of fixtures to requirements specifications. • Directs, through subordinate supervisors, construction of such irrigation systems as dams, canals and ditches, according to type of soil, climatic characteristics, water supply, return flow and other factors affecting irrigation requirements. • Conducts research on problems of soil drainage and conservation, applying knowledge of civil engineering. • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. • Manage own time and the time of others. • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process. • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. What Required Skills You’ll Bring” • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) 7+ years of related field engineering experience • Broad general engineering background, and previous project engineering experience is required What Desired Skills You’ll Bring • Professional registration may also be required Proven ability to perform in a supervisory/leadership role • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required • Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
