Investment Risk & Performance Analyst

Job Purpose The Investment Risk and Performance Analyst supports the development, implementation, and adoption of the Company’s risk management practices by conducting investment risk and performance analysis, measurement, and reporting across investment portfolios, assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely risk and performance reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to support effective communication and informed decision-making within the Risk Management Department. Core Responsibilities • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment portfolios to identify and evaluate risks. • Prepare and deliver quarterly investment risk and performance reports and Risk Appetite reports. • Produce the monthly compliance reports identify all breaches and deviations, and follow up on their rectification. • Collaborate with the investment team to ensure alignment of risk management practices with investment strategies • Conduct comprehensive, in-depth analysis of investment risk studies and assessments. • Validate that portfolio data accurate, complete, and reliable for performance and risk reporting. • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution and reporting. • Assist in the preparation of performance attribution reports and risk-adjusted performance analysis. • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of risk and performance reports to stakeholders. • Participate in the continuous improvement of risk and performance reporting processes and methodologies. • Develop sophisticated tools and techniques to analyze portfolio risks, integrating this analysis into effective portfolio construction and management. • Support the development and implementation of investment risk management tools, systems, and methodologies, and participate in the continuous improvement of risk and performance reporting processes. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment or a related field. • 0 - 3 years of relevant experience. • Professional certifications such as CME-1, CME-4 are preferred. • Fluency in English and Arabic.
