Production Control

The Production Control Specialist is responsible for executing and administratively supporting production activities on the shop floor to promote flow. Reporting to the Senior Project/Planning Manager, this role ensures that what has been planned is correctly issued, monitored, and closed out, keeping production running smoothly and keeping data clean and up to date. This position is execution and coordination focused, serving as the operational link between planning and manufacturing. The Production Control Specialist acts as the glue between planning and execution. While the Senior Project/Planning Manager sets the strategic plan and capacity targets, and the Production Planner translates that into sequencing, the Production Control Specialist ensures that the right work orders are moving at the right time, the data is clean, and shop floor execution is traceable and accountable.
