Sales Associate

Job Purpose: Driving store sales by delivering excellent customer service, promoting products effectively, and supporting basic optical understanding, while ensuring smooth and professional customer experience. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products (frames, sunglasses, basic lenses). • Drive conversion, upselling, Cross-Selling and promotions execution. • Achieving individual sales targets and supporting store performance. • Deliver a friendly and professional customer journey. • Handle customer inquiries and basic issues effectively. • Build customer relationships and encourage repeat visits. • Understand basic prescriptions and product types (frames, lenses, CL). • Support opticians by guiding customers before technical handling. • Ensure correct communication of customer needs to optician/technician. • Process transactions accurately through POS system. • Support insurance documentation and basic inquiries. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. • Maintain product display and cleanliness standards. • Support stock handling and report shortages or issues. • Maintain strong product knowledge and promotions awareness. • Work with team to achieve store targets. • Support opticians and technicians during peak hours. • Contribute to a positive and energetic store environment. • Follow company policies and procedures. • Maintain professional and ethical behavior. • Ensure adherence to customer service and brand standards. • Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job. Skills and Abilities: • Strong sales and customer service skills. • Basic understanding of optical products and prescriptions. • Good knowledge of POS systems and sales processes. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets. Experience: • 2–4 years in retail sales (optical preferred). Education: • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably related field). Language: Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic. Licenses / Certifications: • Optical knowledge preferred
